We bought the same fridge. It stopped working, Samsung sent out a technician who was there 6 hours only to tell us that it was un-repairable and would need replaced. Samsung generated a ticket to replace and then two weeks later sent us an email saying they would not honor it and we were screwed. 3000 dollars for a fridge and a year later it's scrap metal. Samsung sucks as a company.

I'm concerned that you are having the water leak/cool/freeze issue though. Have you contacted Best Buy? Did you purchase the extended warranty?
