“How long should it normally take for the ice maker to fill the tray completely? The installer said I need to fill the tray 4 times and dump out each time before I can use the ice. It’s been 16 hours so far with the new fridge and the tray isn’t half full”

it took 24-48 hours for ice. lol I've been using this since it started making it.. never dumped.

Because of this, there is a delay in the initial ice production.
