“I just purchased this soundbar for my Samsung TV and the sound drops out. After extensive research, there are many reports online about this issue from many people. I've replaced the optical cable to no avail. What is the solution?”

• The problem is the optical does not snap in. If you accidentally move the speaker bar the optical will drop out, I have written Samsung about this issue but have not receive a reply.

• Return it and a get a new one. The optical connection should work well without problems.
