Will this work on my 9 year old pioneer plasma tv. null

If ur tv has arc/hdmi input and or optical/toslink input then yes it'll work.

You can if your tv has an optical out cable port

it should. I hooked it up to my 8-year old Sony LCD and it worked.

Yes , I am using the sound bar on my Panasonic plasma TV and it's 9 years old. I used the hdmi wiring. Sounds great.
