Thank you for the questions. The Control Lockout (or Child Lock) on the FE-R300SX allows you to lock the buttons on the touch pad so they cannot be activated accidentally, such as when you're wiping the control panel to clean it. This model's Energy Saver (or Auto Shut Off) feature automatically turns off the oven after 12 hours during baking functions or after 3 hours during a broil function, in the event the oven is left on accidentally. Both of these features can be disabled or enabled by following the instructions in the user manual. - Ms. Samsung
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The unit shuts off if it is tipped over and the child lock engages a physical door lock, allowing the door to be opened only after making a positive aciton to disengage the lock (by a taller person with problem solving skills).
