A:AnswerThe TV can stretch the signal to fill the screen but you are much better off setting the cable box to the correct setting so that it fills the screen. when you zoom the picture on the tv you are not getting the correct geometry. Google the question with your cablebox model number and it will show you how to set the cable box up correctly.
