• A:Answer Mine came with the door hinge on the left. It was not difficult to change it to be on the right. It requires a phillips screwdriver and a socket set and it took about 15 minutes.

Q: QuestionWhat type of refrigerant is used in the heat pump and does the heat pump require special maintenance other than vacuuming?

• A:Answer R-134a and you have to be vigilant about keeping the lint trap and evaporator coil clean. Even though we have done this, it still plugged up. Worked great for about 2 years. Took the top and back off and cleaned all the lint out and it still doesn't operate correctly. Probably has something to do with poor design or quality control on the internal seals. Other than that, it has been good. Energy efficient and gentle on clothes.

Regarding your concern, most U.S. dryers require a 240 volt, 60 Hz AC-approved electrical service. Some require 208 volts, 60 Hz approved electrical service. The electric service requirements can be found on the data label located behind the door. A 30-ampere fuse or circuit breaker on both sides of the line is required. • If a power cord is used, the cord should be plugged into a 30-ampere receptacle. • The power cord is not provided with U.S. electric model dryers. Q: QuestionWill this be ok below freezing occasionally, if the drain line is used? (The condensate tank would freeze obviously if not emptied) How is the condensate moved into the hose or tank? Is there standing water down lower internally, which would freeze?

• A:Answer Thanks so much for asking, jorge! Because this model is an electric version, it will require more electricity to provide the heat and spin the drum. However, our gas model dryers only require a 110/120V outlet as they use natural gas (or propane) to heat the dryer. ^Jecca
