A:AnswerYou need to allow for 4” - 5” behind the units - primarily for the 4” dryer exhaust and any elbows that come off the back of the dryer unit.
One caution if you are using stackables: The stacking kits for some models can offset the the back of the dryer 1”-2” further back than the back of the washer. If this is the case additional depth to accommodate this offset will be required.

A:AnswerHi carolina! Yes, you can stack the compatible dryer on top of the washing machine using the stacking kit. I have included a link to our website Samsung.com where you can view the compatible dryer and stacking kit (https://bit.ly/2Tq8AuZ). Thank you for choosing to be a part of our family! ^Lena
A:AnswerHi Ivy! There are many factors that determine how much can fit in a single load. This link (https://bit.ly/2T6cHfw) can help to explain load sizes for this washer. ^Jecca
A:AnswerHi! The washing machine uses both hot and cold water dynamically in a system called Auto Temperature Control. Automatic temperature control also reduces how much hot water is used by mixing in cold water as much as possible. Different parts of the cycle will use either hot or cold water, or both. For instance, the Warm cycle uses only cold water until the final rinse. Some temperature settings, even those labeled Cold, will still use the hot water line if the temperature goes below 60 degrees Fahrenheit. If only the cold water line is connected when the washer attempts to use the hot water line, the washer will give a water supply error. Thank you for choosing Samsung! ^Lena
