“I noticed in the description that the Samsung Washer App was required. Is that required to set up or to run the washer? Seems a little unnecessary, and my husband can’t download apps on his phone.”

Not at all required, have not downloaded the app and have been using this washer with ease for more than a month now.

However, we recommend using the Samsung Landry app to utilize most of the product's features if possible. The washer's Smart Care feature recognizes an information code on the display and provides extensive information and recommended solutions. -Kimberly
