A:AnswerHi Rick,
We would love to answer all of your questions about this Samsung dishwasher model.
The California Code (California Proposition 65 warning) requires warning labels on products that may expose consumers to any of the 900-plus chemicals that California lists as a carcinogen or a reproductive toxicant.
This Samsung dishwasher model does not provide an air gap and an aerator but is compatible to be used with an existing air gap in your sink if there is one.
If there is not an available air gap to prevent backflow, secure the drain hose to the side or back wall of the kitchen cabinet using cable ties or other fixtures. Make sure the drain hose height is at least 10 inches from the sink connector.
This dishwasher model has to connect to your sink for the drain hose.

A:AnswerWe're here to help with this. In fact, I have this link (https://bit.ly/3nad4mX) to a helpful guide on how to get the driest dishes possible with this dishwasher. ^Jecca
A:AnswerHi there washlady! If you need to change a selection on the washer after you've started the wash, you can press the "Start/Pause" button to pause the cycle. Once the cycle is paused you can make the necessary adjustments, and then press the "Start/Pause button again to resume the cycle. ^Jecca
A:AnswerWe use Finish Ultimate Cleaning. It has a rinse agent that greatly decreases water marks. Earlier we tried a generic dishwasher soap and had a lot of trouble with water marks. Also, we use the Sanitize setting to further decrease marks and improve drying. Adds 45 minutes to the cycle but makes a difference.
A:AnswerJust a quick rinse to make sure there are no large food left on dishes. Most of the time I just scrape leftover food into the trash and have had no issues yet.
A:AnswerI’ve read about this all over the internet and it made me fearful to buy the dishwasher as it seems to be very common. It hasn’t happened to me yet though.
A:AnswerThere is no pre-clean cycle. Not sure why you would need to "pre-clean". If the dishwasher is functioning correctly, with good detergent, it should clean the dirty pots pans and dishes without a pre-wash. We put our dishes in dirty, no rinse, just knock off the big chunks and let the machine do it job. This one does the job and does it great.
A:AnswerHello D,
We can see why it’s helpful to confirm whether a washer includes a dedicated fabric softener dispenser when you’re deciding how to use it.
Great news! Yes, Samsung washers are designed to dispense liquid fabric softener automatically at the appropriate time in the wash cycle. This applies to compatible top‑load models like the WA44A3205AW when liquid softener is added to the designated dispenser area.
This official Samsung US article explains how Samsung washers use the softener dispenser during a cycle:

A:AnswerGreetings!
Yes, this Samsung washing machine model uses both liquid detergent and detergent pods. To use detergent pods, place the pod directly into the washer tub before adding your clothes.
