“Does this model correct the aluminum spider arm drum holder corrosion issue with a different metal or coated spider arm to prevent the corrosion? Common issue in front loaders and my Samsung of 5 years just failed due to it.”

Don't know but, there is a cycle for cleaning the tub once a month which I guess will make the drum last little longer.
