Power cords are hard wired into the washer unit. (most cases) BUT! Dryers on the other hand do not have power cords. Around the year 1995 building codes changed and the 3 prong power cord became 4 pronged due to a 'grounding' prong. So manufacturers will not include a power cord with a dryer since they don't know which kind of customer will buy their product. Next there is washer hoses. Samsung (unlike Whirlpool/Maytag and some GE models) still include rubber hoses, but I always suggest the customer get the stainless steel braided hoses. (They have less tendency to burst when under pressure) Hope that helps! Happy washing and drying!!!!!
