• You have to hold the extra rinse/*sound button for 3 seconds and it should go away.

• Hey Linda! If you look on page 19 of the User Manual you will find a diagram of the control panel. Page 22 explains how to use the Sound Off function to disable/enable the end of cycle alert sound.
