• Yes. Poor agitation design, I believe. Wife has pair of black shorts I've washed 4 times, can't get residue to come off.

• Hello Ace, We've only had this washer a few weeks. Have run several loads of black clothing with no noticeable lint or residue. I would try using the Deep Wash Setting and see if that helps. Also be sure you are using the recommended HE detergent.
