• They sure can, StoliCat! Beginning on page 34 of the user manual (https://bit.ly/3pghlpV) you will find a complete list of all the operations this washer can do without a connection to the SmartThings app. It is important to note that the added smart features, such as monitoring the washer from your phone, will not function without this connection. ^Jecca
