QuestionBest Buy's site says the drum is made of "Anodized Steel." Home Depot's site says, "Stainless Steel." I need to know which one it is made of. I don't want a drum made of "Anodized Steel." I need rust-proof "Stainless Steel." Is Best Buy's site wrong?

- Answer Samsung, the answer you provided to me about how this washing machine as a "Diamond Drum" that is made of "Steel" does NOT help me. I asked a "SPECIFIC" question explaining the Home Depot website says this model of washing machine says the "Drum" is made of "Stainless Steel," while the Best Buy website says this model of washing machine says the "Drum" is made of "Anodized Steel." I want to know is the "Diamond Drum" made of "Stainless Steel" that will rust or not? If the answer is "Yes," Why have you not corrected the Best Buy website that lists all the Samsung machines as "Anodized Steel" rather than "Stainless Steel"? It very much looks like Samsung was trying to weasel out of answering that question.

QuestionI have this washing machine and every time I wash a dark load of clothing, they all come out with a white residue on them, as though they were in a powder detergent.. I use only liquid detergent, yet all dark items are "stained" with this white residue.

- Answer Anodized is a aluminum coated drum. Stainless steel ,if good grade will not rust or corode.
