    • Answer Hello valued customer, It’s reasonable to want to confirm how the washer behaves before starting a cycle. For this model, the cycle will not start or continue if the lid is open, including agitation and spinning. The washer uses a safety lid‑lock system, so the lid must be closed for the cycle to begin and run normally. In most cases, opening the lid will also pause water filling, and the washer will resume once the lid is properly closed.
