“Bleach dispenser not emptying I just bought the wa48h7400a & for the first use I ran a bleach load, did not fill bleach to max line. Lots of bleach still in the dispenser. Just ran another bleach load, did not add any more bleach, & there's still bleach left in the dispenser. This can't be right, can it? If it empties any more bleach into the next load it'll ruin the non-bleach stuff. The dispenser doesn't seem to come out for emptying & there's nothing about this in the manual. Help!!”

Hi Vickie, If the Washer isn't leveled properly, the dispenser may not be able to drain completely. Please check the leveling to ensure it isn't leaning forward slightly, adjusting the legs as necessary until the Washer is perfectly level front to back and side to side, and there is no vibration when you run a test cycle. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It flushes with water. So there is a little water left in there after the load is complete. I use Clorox 2 and Clorox and with the Clorox 2 (being blue) you can see that it empties all of the bleach out by the time you start your next wash. We were concerned about this as well. But no bleach has ended up in a load where it doesn't belong.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Are you certain it's bleach? All of our dispensers have some water sitting in them after each cycle, which the manual states is normal. If you think it's bleach and not water, that sounds like a defect and I'd call the company.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Please excuse my ignorance, but are you sure the bleach dispenser contains bleach? When I look in my dispenser, it looks like there is something in it, but when I stick my finger in there, the plastic is bone dry. The plastic has a strange look that makes it appear full. Also, if there is liquid in there, it could be water caused by splashing around and spraying. Stick a paper towel inside the dispenser. If it's wet, does it emit a bleachy odor? If there is, indeed, bleach in your dispenser after several loads of washing, you should call a repairman. I have used the bleach dispenser, and the bleach was emptied into the wash during that first wash load. Good luck!
