“I used my machine for the first time this morning. It dispensed the fabric softener before the detergent. Is it supposed to do that?”

• Thanks for the question. The contents of the fabric softener compartment should dispense during the rinse phase, and the detergent compartment should dispense during the initial fill. Please make sure you're filling the correct compartments with no more than the recommended amount of detergent and fabric softener. Adding too much of either liquid can cause it to dispense early by activating the siphoning mechanism. If the issue persists, please call 888-BEST BUY or 800-SAMSUNG to speak with an agent who can help determine whether service is advisable. - Ms. Samsung

• This may sound silly but are you sure you put the right product in the right dispenser ?

• The machine is supposed to dispense liquid fabric softener during the rinse cycle. Mine does so. Call Best Buy if your machine is still doing this.
