Although I cannot speak on behalf of other manufacturer's products or on behalf of Best Buy (in regards to showing a picture of the inputs), I can say that with the majority of the new generation of Samsung TVs, only the Optical Audio Output will be available for use. However, the LN40D630 will actually offer both an optical and a 3.5mm analogue audio output (you will want to use a 3.5mm jack to RED/WHITE RCA plug cable). -MrSamsung
