A:AnswerThe TV itself is only about 1.5" deep. The stand that it comes with is about 12" deep. If you are mounting it, think of about 1.5". It is really thin.

A:AnswerI am sorry. Never had the need to hook it up as you are trying to do and I am not sure. I want to say that it probably does cause Dolby Digital decoding add a significant expense and doubt that they would have it on the tv.
A:AnswerI really think that this tv is able to produce great sound in a small room. If you don’t think so then I am sure you will be able to get a Sound bar with a Bass at Best Buy to fit your needs.
