“I replaced a Panasonic Plasma with this TV. When I am sitting on the floor or watching off center the color washes out. Is this a function of the type of TV or is this model faulty. This is the second set I purchased. I returned the first one.”

Ours does that also....sitting off a bit to the side and the color washes out with a bluish tint. Not happy about it, but like everything else about the tv. I think I've heard that the curved screen it better for angle viewing.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Unless your TV is mounted near the ceiling you should not have washed out color sitting on the floor. Quite frankly I haven't noticed any washed out color from any angle. Do you have a mirror that produces a glare close to your tv?
