I have the samsung HW-J450ZA soundbar connected to a Samsung UN65JS8500FXZA TV. Soundbar volume is controlled by either the TV remote, the Cable set top box remote, or the soundbar's remote. No problem.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have Comcast cable, and the Comcast remote will control the sound bar, so I would think your universal remote will do the same. I use the sound bar remote to control the fine settings of the sound bar.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.UVerse would be best able to answer if their device supports home theater or audio bar systems. We can't confirm on their behalf, however many Logitech Harmony remotes will be compatible with this model. Thanks for your interest in Samsung products. --Mr. S
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have a Time Warner cable. I tried to program my remote for it. If your remote comes in with code for programming devices. By all means go for it. I really don't mind using separate controls. It didn't bother me much. Just gotta keep it in sight than leave it on couch. I have a Samsung TV as well. So I can't complain much about that TWC remote doesn't program sound bar.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The soundbar comes with a remote that you have to use with it. I don't think you can use one remote for everything.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No. You must use the control that comes with the unit. Sound quality is very poor in any case.
