No you don't need an HDMI. It comes with a fiber optic cable. Look behind your TV and you will see a small square connection. That's the fiber optics connection. And yes the subwoofer is wireless. It wirelessly connects to the sound bar. Instructions are easy.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The subwoofer only needs to be plugged into a power outlet. Everything you need to connect the the bar to the TV comes in the box.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes the subwoofer is wireless (requires no cables). But you will need an HDMI cable for the sound bar (Samsung could have included it and buried the price in the unit saving me a trip back for the cable).
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes. I connect the fiber optic cable to from my TV to the soundbar. If it is mounted you should be able to hide the cord...it's very narrow. I have my soundbar sitting on a mounted shelf and I've hidden the cord.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Four connectors possible, but hdmi not required.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Unless you are using a bluetooth enabled device you will need the hdmi cable to run from the television. Mp3 players that have bluetooth do not require any hookup.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Just bought this soundbar and for over an hour I have been trying to get the supplied optical cable connected . It has male beveled heads with small wings that only go on one way. Dumb proof right! This cable will not connect securely to the tv (Sony) nor the soundbar, seems to be wrong cable for this soundbar. Calling Best Buy geek squad.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.
