So yes, according to this it uses the 802.11AC built-in Wi-Fi protocol.
I am not sure why we had to dig so hard to find this important information. I recently changed to Hulu Live for my TV service, only to find that the Samsung set I own cannot get Hulu Live, as it uses the older wi-fi protocol, so your question is the main one I am asking before I buy a new set.
