• A:Answer I have the smart things app and am am able to turn the TV on through it if I want but I have it connected to my echo for that. You aren’t able to turn the TV on and off through this app but you can check it out for other purposes Smart Remote For Samsung TV by Color Tiger

Q: QuestionI purchased the 43" and I don't really care for the remote. I like the Slim Smart remote that came with my Samsung 55" QF6 4K tv. Other Remote alternatives out there other than this too much remote. Can QF6 Samsung Smart slim remote be used? :) thx

• A:Answer I just bought this TV and it absolutely does not support the slim smart remote. I have a spare from my Samsung that just died and tried using it. Needless to say, the supplied remote is clunky and I'll be returning this TV. It appears like the 8000 series or higher is what supports the smart remote.
