“Does "The Frame Series" in art mode keep the backlight on? In a darkened room is it obviously a digital picture frame, or does it use some kind of e-Ink solution so that it actually looks like a printed piece of art?”

• Hi! The Frame features a light sensor within the TV to properly dim the display to match the lighting in the room so it does not appear like a digital frame solution. This can be further customized to be brighter, darker, or a different color temperature if you do not like the automatic setting provided. ^Tim

• The backlight is on, but dimmed. In a very dark setting it’s obvious that it’s a TV. However you can creat the illusion that it’s a piece of art by installing a spotlight above the TV pointing down at it.
