• Yes, it does. When there is no motion your tv goes into a regular screen mode. For example at night when you are sleeping or away at work your art mode will not be on. I like this feature.

• Yes the 43” Sensor is works (on:off) during daylight hours and at night in the dark it doesn’t come on unless The light detection triggers the sensor.
