Q: QuestionHow do you get rid of those "blackout" strips on the top and bottom of screen making the picture skinnier? It's meant for wide screen, I think??...but we hate it. Idiotic question, I know!! but I'm old haha and can't figure it out

• A:Answer Go to menu and settings, from there you should be able to change the setting to normal instead of widescreen.

• A:Answer Not recommended unless you want to purchase a wall mount or buy a new TV when it decides to shift on its own. I suppose you could prop it up in a corner or against a wall but get some rubber drawer liner for under the edge of it for extra security. Why would you RISK your investment?
