What is the foot print of the stand (that is stand dimensions not tv with stand)? Need stand dimensions to determine if TV will fit on cabinet. Don't care if tv extends past cabinet but stand must fit existing platform. Thank you.

The stand fits in a 24" wide by 8" deep rectangle. Front tapers to just under 22" wide. I had the same concern before purchase and it odd that the manufacturer doesn't provide this info readily.

The stand is 23 1/2 inches wide and 8 inches deep.
