Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I don't know about the old issues but I came across your question b/c I have a fairly new wf50k7500 washer and dryer. My old washer died at 10 years. It was trusty and I miss it. The tech who came out to decide if it could be repaired said it was very clean, especially for it's age but would cost too much to fix. I do not think I have changed the way I wash clothes or anything so the fact that the last washer was super clean, was beyond me because this washer and the ring around the rubber is FULL OF MOLD! I hate it!! Who wants to try to clean their clothes in a moldy washer? I have tried to clean it but I have found nothing that takes out the problem! If you find a solution let me know. Would love to sell mine back and try a different washer.
