A:AnswerDid you check the specs? I have a 27" wide space and the dryer fits perfectly. As for the height, since my laundry room has no restrictions as to the height of either washer or dryer, I can't really answer that. The specs area should be able to give you all the measurements.
A:AnswerI personally doubt it. I tried to do the same, but the size & how they buckle together are different. If you are just about the buy the washer, I recommend buying both & if your base does fit, then just return the new base back to Best Buy. If you do it, the delivery guys can try to match it, & then put the new one on. This is versus paying a delivery fee & waiting for the guys to come back to just install the base. Plus doing the laundry by floor. And May the Force be with you. Although we have had it a short time, it seems to do a great job in less time than my old one.
A:AnswerYes it does plug into a standard 110/120
VAC plug. The drain hose is probably 5 to 6 feet long which hooks into the bottom portion of the washer (looking at the back, bottom right) It gave me about 1 to 2 feet to play with when I ran the hose up and behind the washer.
A:AnswerSmall loads work just fine. You may want to consider whether the Quick Wash option is sufficient since it has a shorter run cycle. But, even if the Normal wash cycle with steam is used, the size of the load works fine in terms of a quality wash.
A:AnswerYes it does! I have a HUGE, ultra thick king size comforter and it fits (barely) I have also been able to wash a twin AND full size comforter WITH all sheets in one load.
A:AnswerYes it does and it has a 10 year warranty on it. Won’t help you much though as the bearings inside the drum fail in 2-3 years causing an $800 repair bill. This just happened to us.
A:AnswerCheck with Samsung directly. I ordered mine thru Best Buy when I bought the machine and had it sent directly to my home. It arrived the same day as the day the machine was installed. My son had it all installed when I got home.
A:AnswerThe approximate opening diameter for the front loading 5.0 washer is 14.75 inches. There is a rubber gasket that gives to movement. You have a good point about the actual size of the opening being the relevant measurement instead of the actual door. The door at its widest measurement would be much larger at approximately 25 inches taken from the outside. I hope those measurements help. I should add that small laundry rooms be careful to take into their measurements the size of the door and how it will open. I had to install the washer cater-cornered because of the space limitations. In the end, I had a 1/4 turn to remove laundry from the washer and place into the dryer which was also installed cater-cornered.
