A:AnswerNow lets be honest, the rust issue around the bleach and detergent dispenser is a common issue on the Samsung Top Loader. Just google it. We bought ours 2-3 years ago and now have rust - even though we rarely use bleach. The repair is not simple. Samsung has now redesign the affected area with plastic so it is no longer an issue. To my knowledge, Samsung has not recalled the part or acknowledged responsibility for poor design. I bought the Samsung because of its quality ratings in Consumer Reports. Stupid me. We should expect better. Samsung disappoints.
