“Are the rear speakers completely wireless? Or do we need to have the connection going to the sub-woofer from them”

The subwoofer is independent and connects wirelessly with the front speaker bar. The 2 rear speakers are connected to a separate receiver by speaker wire. The receiver needs to be plugged into an electric socket but it connects wirelessly with the front speaker bar.

The wireless module and subwoofer will both require a power connection to a nearby outlet, and will then connect wirelessly to the soundbar. This gives you flexibility with where you are placing your speakers and subwoofer. ^Tim
