Geek Squad was out to fix mine yesterday They took the Sounbar remotee & pressed the "ON" button & then took the cable remote & clicked on the volumn button & the soundbar was controlling the volumn on the TV. So far the soundbar has stayed with the tv & haven't had any more issues. I hope I explained this correctly, if not you can call the geek squad & they will be able to walk you thru on the phone.
