A:AnswerThe sound is great in our 11’ x 15’ area. Nice, full, deep sound. We put the subwoofer behind/next to our recliners so we can “feel” it as well!
A:AnswerAny standard set of HDMI cables that the box says is compatible with HD-720p/1080p televisions or the newer UHD-4K televisions will work because all you're doing is running sound from your TV to the speakers and that's it. However, if you have a UHD/4K television and PLAN TO WATCH 4K MOVIES FROM A 4K/BLU-RAY DISC PLAYER THEN YOU MUST BUY 4K COMPATIBLE HDMI CABLES AND RUN THEM THROUGH THE HW-Q60R SOUNDBAR OR OTHER 4K COMPATIBLE SOUND SYSTEM OR YOU WON'T BE ABLE TO WATCH YOUR MOVIES IN UDH-4K RESOLUTION! I made this mistake last year when I bought a new Samsung Q6F-QLED television and bought the Samsung N-550 soundbar to go with it. That soundbar, the older version of the current HW-Q60R soundbar, as great as it is, DOES NOT HAVE 4K PASS-THROUGH, so I could not play 4K discs on my TV when hooked up from my 4K disc player via the soundbar. The current HW-Q60R soundbar is specially made to be compatible with all Samsung QLED televisions and it DOES have 4K pass-through! After getting this new soundbar for $275 at Best Buy a couple of weeks ago, I can finally play 4K videos from my Samsung UBD-M9500 4K/Blu-Ray disc player to my QLED-TV with no problems and excellent sound to boot. Bottom line: If you have a regular HD or UHD television then regular HDMI cables to your soundbar is fine (hook up to the ARC-HDMI port on your TV and the soundbar) as long as all you want is the sound. But if you have a QLED or UHD-4K television and you plan to watch 4K videodiscs from a 4K video player then you must have the HW-Q60R soundbar (or its equivalent sold by Costco) and 4K compatible HDMI cables to play 4K discs on your TV routed through the soundbar. For this, you'll need to buy two 4K compatible HDMI cables - from the 4K player to your soundbar and a second set from your soundbar to the television. Bear in mind, whichever soundbar you buy in the end, if you plan to play 4K vidoes, make sure it has 4K pass-through; otherwise, you'll be watching your movies in Blu-ray resolution and not 4K, which is whole reason you are wanting a 4K television!
A:AnswerIt comes with these “L” brackets that I believe mount to the bottom of the tv but I know for sure it also can be mounted to the wall directly. The “L” brackets (set of 2) are the same size as the sound bar so they will not show. Looks pretty easy to install
A:AnswerI was using an HDMI & was told the optical is better. I now use an optical cable. Sound delay & sound yncronization is a MAJOR problem. GEEK SQUAD said it is the cable box, Spectram said it is Samsung.
VERY CONFUSED!

A:AnswerCOSTCO uses a C for all of their zeros in their model numbers...this is so no one in either party has to worry about price matching...kind of messed up...
A:AnswerI have the Q60 soundbar, but do not have it mounted on the TV. I have the TV sitting atop a cabinet and the soundbar lies nicely under TV on the cabinet. It does come with some mounting hardware, but I am thinking it is to mount the bar on the wall. Unless special brackets, I do not see any way to actually mount the sound bar on the TV. If the TV were mounted on the wall, you could mount the sound bar on the wall along with the TV. Hope that helps
A:AnswerThe system I purchased came with an optical cable. Since I have always used optical for audio in the past I continued using an optical cable with this unit. The soundbar does allow for a hdmi connection to the ARC port on your tv. However I like to leave all the hdmi’s open for blu-ray, game consoles, etc.. hope this helps!
A:AnswerI also had trouble hearing the dialogue on our older Samsung N550 soundbar. The updated Samsung HW-Q60R (or its equivalent marketed by Costco) has what is called "Adaptable Sound". It automatically adjusts the sound of the speakers so speaking comes through more clearly and isn't drowned out by the other sounds. The bass is also better on the Q60R than the older N550. Best Buy and Costco have been both selling this better sound system at a reduced price for the holidays.
A:AnswerShort answer is no. It just has Bluetooth not wifi, but I hooked mine into my smart TV with the Digital Optical cable that it came with which is very small and not noticeable, and then I play songs, videos etc from my phone to my TV and then it of course comes out of these speakers that way.
A:AnswerThis is the newer model it does not come with a remote because you dont need it install using hdmi ARC and you can operate all functions with the tv remote
