A:AnswerYes it is. Keep in mind this is not a true 5.1 surround sound system. The soundbar simply imitates one. But they do a pretty good job of it considering the price.
A:AnswerOsc: Sub woofer is low frequency sound - that gives you the sound effects you hear similar to a movie theatre. The short answer is you can place a sub-woofer anywhere in the room - it doesn't matter.
A:AnswerYes it does connect to Wi-Fi speakers I have not picked them up yet so I’m not exactly sure how they sound but the sound bar is pretty good makes you feel like you’re in a theater
A:AnswerThe sub-woofer is not the strong and powerful sub-woofer that many people like for deep, powerful bass, particularly for playing music. It is more subtle and yet plenty powerful when needed for movies with lots of booms and action. My guess is that it will sound just as good if placed in a cabinet. Besides the speakers on the soundbar itself provide pretty good bass sound on their own.
A:AnswerThe Q-60 has Bluetooth but not WiFi so I am not sure, it does not pair with Echo, and the reviews say the Q-70 has both wifi and Bluetooth. I can tell you the sound is great with the Q-60.
A:AnswerYou need the SWA-8500S speakers to go with the older N-550 soundbar or the better HW-Q60R soundbar. The latter soundbar is better because it has 4K pass-through for watching 4K videos and better bass through the sub-woofer). I bought the HW-Q60R soundbar a couple of weeks ago for $275 at Best Buy. Costco is selling the equivalent at the same price). The rear wireless speakers paired perfectly with the HW-Q60R soundbar and it sounds great.
