A:AnswerI'm probably too late to help you make a decision but I hope you didn't buy another Samsung washer. I purchased two Samsung top-load washers in the past 7 years and will never buy another one again. The first one was recalled due to spin cycle issues and the rebate was so pitiful that I had to purchase another Samsung washer to even recoup 30% of my cost. Fast-forward 2 months after the warranty expires and there is rust growing around the bleach dispenser even though I rarely use bleach and am careful about wiping it dry afterwards. Samsung will do nothing to repair or compensate because the warranty has expired. There is even a class-action suit against them for this because so many customers are experiencing the issue (Google it if you have doubt). We are all stuck with these expensive washers with no customer service. Once the rust has expanded, it gets into the wash load and your clothes are covered with it. I will never purchase another Samsung appliance again after being burned twice. Consider yourself warned and get something else. When a company ignores a problem this widespread with their machines, how can you knowingly fall for them again? I only bought a second Samsung because it doubled my rebate amount...I am sure not going to buy a third one after having two machines fail in the span of 7 years due to design flaws.
A:AnswerI am very happy with this washing machine. The clothes come out very clean. It does a great job. Had a maytag before this one. Like the Samsung better.
A:AnswerThis machine should not be loud at all. In fact, we dont even hear ours running unless we are in the same room (and it is installed on a wooden floor). Perhaps your washer is not leveled properly, that would cause the washer to spin way out of balance. Try to check level by doing the water test. Pour enough water in the bottom so that a full circle of water is visable in the bottom but it has not yet started to come up the sides of the drum. If the bottom agitator is not in the very certer of the water circle, you will need to adjust the feet.
I found that this washer CANNOT be leveled by using a bubble level on the outside or top of the machine. When I attempted this, it actually told me to go the exact opposite direction that I needed to go to level it. It wasnt until I did the water test that I finally got it to spin perfectly without rattling.
A:AnswerYes it is high efficiency. I have this washer and the dryer. It states it in the manual and if I’m not mostly it also states in on the inside where the detergent goes.
A:AnswerYou can manually add water. Pause the cycle, wait for door to unlock then hit the water jet button and then turn off water jet button once desired added water level is reached. Close lid then hit pause button again to continue wash.
A:AnswerNo there’s not. It has a self cleaning button that lights up when it’s time to clean it, but all you do is push the button and it cleans it. Not sure if they all do that, I hadn’t had a new washer in 20 years. I’ve had mine for two months and I love it.
A:AnswerIt works similar to a faucet! Just has a different name! It’s the little blue thing in the photo that shoots out the water! Works and has the same purpose!
A:AnswerYes the dispenser can be fully removed. Haven't had this model for long, had similar samsung one before and never had problem with smell or mold. Top loaders don't have water that gets trapped in rubber seal like front loaders do. I do usually leave lid open for 20 minutes or so after removing a load so that it airs out and dries though.
A:AnswerDon't know the top end number, but we've had 15 towels in this unit a couple of times with room to spare and all were clean and ready to be dried, once washing cycles were completed..
A:AnswerThe washer uses a minimum amount of water by design. High efficiency machines are not meant to be filled up completely with water. The Samsung 5.2cf 13 cycle Activewash has a deep wash cycle which you may find helpful.
