The two ovens will hold different temperatures, but the difference cannot be 400 and 225. They must be closer. I don't recall what the max difference can be. Sorry. Regarding the turkey, the lower oven cannot hold a large turkey. You must use the entire oven with the divider removed. The bottom oven is only slightly larger than the top oven.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes I find that the ovens hold their temps well...and I’ve no issues with over cooking. We actually did a turkey this past year without issue and it fit...it was right around 25lbs
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No, the design is so poor that whatever the higher temperature in the bottom oven is transfers to the top oven. No it cannot roast a turkey in the bottom cavity over 19 pounds. Also the top cavity ovens heat is produced only by the broiler element resulting in poor cooking. The food is burned on top and raw on the bottom. Do yourself a favor, do not make the mistake I did by buying this oven. The "stainless steel" is not really stainless steel, it is some kind of alloy. It is very fragile and scratches easily. I've had this oven in use for 3 months and it looks terrible. My old 25 year old SS oven looks in better shape than this one does. It will probably rust next. This one wont last 25 months let alone 25 years.
