To clarify that specification: is it meant to indicate the height of the countertop that the overhang fits over, or of the top surface of the stove itself - i.e. would the underside of the overhang with the gasket be slightly lower than 36"? That difference matters because I don't want an opening where food/liquids can get underneath from the counter. Thank you.
