A:AnswerHello,
Thank you for reaching out and letting us know your inquiry about the electrical requirements of this Samsung range. We understand that this is essential for you, and we're here to help.
As per checking, you should use a dedicated 120-volt, 60-Hz, 20-amp, AC, fused electrical circuit for this range. A time-delay fuse or circuit breaker is recommended. Do not plug more than one appliance into this circuit.

A:AnswerThanks for your question. Samsung doesn't currently make a downdraft accessory for the NX58H9500WS, so I would suggest contacting Best Buy for assistance finding an appropriate alternative.

A:AnswerHi mousetrap.
Thank you for reaching out regarding your Samsung - 5.8 Cu. Ft. Self-Cleaning Slide-In Gas Convection Range; if this has an exhaust fan, how can you turn it off. Regarding your concern, this range does not have an exhaust fan; however, this has a convection fan. The convection oven fan operates only when the oven temperature increases.
I suggest you check this link to your user manual for assistance. Please go to page 37.

A:AnswerThe range we recieved was a bit shorter than shown in the installation manual. Our counter top is 35 7/8 and it fits fine, close to but not fully at minimum height adjustment
A:Answeryour btu power is a little off unless you are using ALL of the cooking power at the same time. I don't know many people using every burner and the oven simultaneously very often. Also you can't bake and broil at the same time its one or the other to my knowledge, so at the very minimum you can take 16,000 off that btu number.
A:AnswerOne of the 3 racks has a section that lifts off ( basically becoming half a rack ) allowing a tall item on a lower shelf to stand tall. We only use 2 racks, but it may become useful one day.
A:AnswerHi fe.
Thank you for reaching out regarding your Samsung - 5.8 Cu. Ft. Self-Cleaning Slide-In Gas Convection Range oven door is locked. Regarding your concern, as a safety precaution, your range's door will lock when the oven gets too hot. This is to prevent any possible injuries. If your oven is cool, you may have Child Lock turned on or need to power cycle the range to unlock the door.
Here are the steps you need to do:
1. Allow the oven to cool down.
2. Power on the range.
3. Power cycle the range at the circuit breaker for 60 seconds. Then, power it back on.
Here is the link to further assist you.

A:AnswerWe were looking for the same thing and had a very hard time finding many downdraft, slide-in options. We ended up buying this range, along with the Samsung over-the-oven microwave that we use for venting. I went to HD and had a half inch thick, 8x8" scrap of wood cut. When the installers removed my old downdraft oven, I screwed this little panel onto the ground over the vent hole. I was afraid that it might interfere with the bottom drawer sliding, but it did not. So that's the end of the downdraft.
A:AnswerThanks for the question. The Installation Guide is not currently available online, and this portal does not allow me to upload images. I can tell you that the NX58H9500WS is designed to be installed in a cabinet opening that is 29-15/16” ~ 30-1/16” wide. More detailed installation dimensions and location information can be found in the Guide which is currently available only with the new range. I would suggest contacting your local Best Buy Appliance Team for assistance determining if this Slide-in Gas Range is on display in your area where you can refer to the included copy of the Guide.

A:AnswerWe need to pull vent grates off. Does anyone know how to do that? (We had a piece of plastic fall down there and want to get it out so it wont melt when we use the oven)
