It isn't unusual for some heat to escape the oven when in use since ovens aren't designed to be airtight. Heat escapes through the vent under the right side of the control panel back splash as well as through the door when it's opened to check on cooking progress. It's worth noting that Samsung uses 4 panes of glass in the oven doors to help insulate the interior and prevent the door from becoming excessively hot to the touch.
