Why does my oven smell when i first used it? null

Hi Sandra. I was told that it is the oils used in manufacturing that form a film on the walls of the oven. If you turn the oven to 400 degrees for about 20 minutes (open your windows) the oils will burn off and the smell will dissipate. I did that and after the first use had no more smell after that. Hope this helps.
