“This is my 3rd stove in my house and this one is the only one that I cannot push all the way back to the wall (or even close). I don't like that I have 2 inches of open space behind stove. What am I doing wrong? Catches on pipe.”

My range sits approximately 1-3/4" away from the wall installed. I actually prefer a little clearance for air circulation, especially when the self cleaning oven is running. The installation manual for this stove does show the ideal location for the gas pipe/line. I have a flexible gas line, so it does have some wiggle room.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I suspect the reason is the installed "tip-over" bracket. The slot is not deep enough when the stove leg is inserted. Another possible cause might be the flexible gas hose is bent in such a way that prevents the stove from moving fully back.
