“Does this oven vent hot air from the oven to the stove top? This seems wrong. I put the oven on bake (not convection) and the oven was heating up the whole kitchen with hot air venting from the area just below the control panel on the back of the stove.”

The same thing happened to me last night when I tried to use it on “broil”. The whole kitchen and house smelled like smoke and it took some time to air it all out. I am concerned for this as well.
