• You only have so much stretch with the cord but it is still pretty long. My receptacle is behind the range. It could go beside it so long as it isn't far away but behind it works great.

• Behind the stove would be the best place since the cord is attached to the back of the stove.

• The electric supply should be 15'' off the ground and 17'' from either side at the middle, with a 2'' x 2'' diameter.
