With any radiant/glass/smooth top range I've used over the past 18 years or so, it's best to use superior quality flat-bottomed cookware (no "rounding" on the outside edges). You'll find when using this type of cookware, the bottom fits each of the burners almost perfectly (6 to 12 inch burners) and cooking will be more efficient. Remember not to jack the heat up. These tops with that superior quality cookware get hot and stay hot at lower burner temperature settings.
