Can cast iron be used on stove top? null

You can cook with your cast iron on any type of stove. (Even glass-top stoves)

Can you put a hot pot from the oven onto the glass top or will it crack? Is it safe to do?

You can. Just be careful not to scratch the top by dragging the pan.

Cast iron will shatter glass top when heated up.

Cast iron is not recommended on a glass cooktop as it can scratch it.
