Excellent question, NWar747! I have just what you need in this link (https://bit.ly/3AEqygE) that discusses canning on Samsung cooktops. It does mention that our cooktops have been tested for up to 65lbs. However it also notes that typically the weight is not what causes damage; it is instead the act of dragging the heavy pot or pan across the cooktop. ^Jecca
