Can you use cast iron on the stovetop ?? null

I don’t see why not, heat is heat. But it seems to me a gas stove would be better for a cast iron pan. I will say it seems that with the glass top a cast iron pan may be a little rough on the glass surface. I’ve never had a glass top surface so I don’t know the durability of it, but so far I’m really happy with this appliance. I do feel that an iron pan though it may work would benefit from the traditional cook surfaces that a grill would provide. Long way of saying I think so, but maybe there is a better option.

I never use a cast iron pan. I believe it says in the booklet it is not recommended though.
